Very Helpful tips ! Earlier I used to think that submitting form 15G/15H for FDs is a one time affair, but realise how important it is to do so every year !

If an employee gives details of all his savings qualifying for deduction and resultant tax is nil, employer will not deduct TDS. If any TDS is deducted, this may be actual liability with no need for refund.

for Assessment year 2013-14 saving up to 100000 is tax free. So if an employee have earning more than 3 lack TDS deducted. I have very little knowledge because I am not in touch. I replied because TDS deducted from salary of my wife.
