I wanted to know if I can use my current Adsense with the new site. It's in WP. And is there any official widget from Adsense?

Nope.. I don't think adsense having that kind of widget.. They only used to give piece of code.

By the way, I have heard that on wordpress we can't use those ads unless we are hosting wordpress blog on separate hosting. I hope you are doing the same.

And about pasting code, there should be option in wordpress for editing html code, like we are having in blogger.

I too haven't heard about Adesne widget. However, WP sites can have Adsense.
In Blogger I know how to use HTML, but I am new to WP. So have no idea.

Widget is the best thing to add your code. It is also easy process to add just try once.

Yes... You can make changes in the same blog and make it better and can apply for the same again. No problem. ;) But it should follow all the terms of Google.
