I am facing problems in proceeding with writing and submitting my article. I don't understand what do I write in meta data descriptions and keywords....!!

Is is not simply possible to write an article in the editor and submit it.....????

First of all welcome Mohit.
You cannot submit without filling meta data descriptions and keywords. Write in brief about your article in meta data descriptions and few words (highlight words) in keywords.

Meta data is nothing but short summery of you article, could be 2-3 lines and key words are those special words in your article which you think can help search engines to attract readers. Not a difficult job but pick a few words from your article and put them in that slot. Cheers.

I tried submitting my article and it worked but when I tried to view my article it says 404 error and in " my articles" it says that article successfully saved.......??

No, every thing is fine
go to your dashboard by clicking main tab on top bar DASHBOARD
go to articles, you will know your article's status there.

I think the purpose of your query is solved so locking it.
