Ready wit or Repartee is an art that can be defined as.” A quick, witty reply or an exchange of witty remarks.”
Ready wit or Repartee is a part of any literature.

There was once a famous repartee by GB Shaw, i donot know if it is true or not but certainly is amusing ...

Churchill : There is a lot of poverty in this world
Shaw : Well, looking at you, i guess the world does have ( he implied that the world is hungry because Churchill was fat and kept on eating ) hahahahah
