Maldives is a sovereign country. India should not interfere in internal affairs of any country- big or small. If some body needs international intervention, the best way is to contact United Nations/ International human Rights organization.

B) Yes sir it right that Maldives is a sovereign country and not one have right to interfere in internal affairs. But democracy in neibhour country is in good for India. If India will not interfere country like China is ready for it. It is not in interest of India.

Criminal action against an individual- howsoever big- is not an issue for which India may interfere. If Maldives faces external threat from China or any other country, this would be different. Then Security council of United Nations will come in picture. We often criticize U.S.A. for imperialist and neo colonial designs. we should not expose ourselves to similar accusation.
