Fasting can be described in the ways as listed below.
(i) Nature’s only universal and omnipotent remedy of healing.
(ii) Nature’s only fundamental law of all healing and curing.
I think that it is better neither to indulge in over eating nor fasting. Eating proper and just adequate food suffices for good health. Fasting is either a religious ritual or a compulsion resulting from overeating. The Sikh religion does not permit fasting.
I have heard that most of the common diseases caused by unhealthy food. So fasting sometime can be good idea.

There is a saying in Sanskrit. "Lankanam Parama Aushadham." Means, Fasting is the best medicine."
In my case I do fasting when I have an upset stomach or an acidity problem and I feel better when I skip a meal. :)
But totally empty stomach may not be good. Some times it is good as our body gets rest.
Easter time - It is the fasting time for Christian.

The Mohammedan, the Buddhists, the Hindus and many others have their periods of strict fasting. The saints of medieval times laid great stress on this method.
Too much of fasting can damage our health problem.Those who are weak they should not do fasting.

Many people have advocated fasting to ward off diseases and problems in the body and having a healthy life. I am experiencing the same now. Since last night, I have having a terrible tummy. The best thing I knew was to give the digestion system a rest. I hope it will help me out.

Fasting might not necessarily reduce your fat. I don't think it is the right way to reduce body fat. Yes, weight can be reduced through fasting, but there are other ways to reduce the fat too.

Since how many days are you drinking honey mixed with lukewarm water? My sister once tried this. She did it continuously for about 3-4 days and she started feeling week and fragile. I hope you take care about yourself and be aware of the side-effects too.
:) Fasting is useful in curing many health problem specially digestion problem. I use it many time. It give much relief. In Nature pathy fast is means of treatment.

: B) Three or four day is not enough to get its benefits. Your sister started feeling weekness it is because of quantity of honey. Use atleast 20gm honey in one and four time in a day. I tried it.
