Gorkha separatist protest against Mamata Banerjee

It is a matter of concern that the Gorkha group in West Bengal seeks apology from the C.M. just because she opines that there can be no sub division of the state. There is no doubt that the Gorkhas are simply immigrants from neighboring Nepal and Gorkhali has never been a language of West Bengal. There is no basis for separate Gorkha state by separating North Nemgal territory. This is the issue on which all major political parties in West Bengal should take a principled and untied stand and rebuff the separatists.
