The incident is indeed very unfortunate. compliance with formalities is essential but there need be more humane approach. The paper formalities are for people and not the other way round.
Every law is made by humans. Every law must have human face.
Exactly ! will they ask for ration cards if the person is a known face and influential, their laws are only for common people to make their lives miserable...
