Last week we took a BSNL connection. Though its purpose was solely for net I feel nice whenever phone rings....a nostalgic feeling. It may be because I am hearing its ring after 6 years. What about you? Whole world is now disconnecting land phone connection and completely depending on mobile phones. I now remember Preethi Zinta's ad of MTNL where she rejects a boy saying a home without landphone is a place without identity :cheer:
I had 4 landline connections until 2009, one my personal and 3 official from different telecom companies for official use but I have none as of now although I have 4 mobile phones instead.

As a marketing manager of a telecom company I was supposed to be in touch of marketing staff, service people and distributors/dealers net work allover the country and a few other countries. That was tough but lots of fun too because I could handle problems instantly.

I am lucky because I have only 199 articles published so I am lesser worried. :laugh: :laugh:

The BSNL fixed phone also serves as residential proof and hence I agree with Preethi Zinta's ad of MTNL. My parents found Land Line more convenient. Many contact on he fixed phone and so this needs not be surrendered. .

I agree about proof of residence but in my case I stay here for only for a few months every year so it does not serve my purpose.
