:laugh: As per Maya calander 22 December 2012 is last day of the world. Now this day is gone like other days. How you are feeling now.

Well Said Mary. Hereafter we do have a couple of Fools Day every year. Fools Day for the first half is on 01 Apr and for the second half is 21 Dec. :P :P :P :P :P :P

Surely we don't want any super calender that tells fortunes about dooms day. Normal one are enough for everyone. :laugh:

In fact, we all use calendar- the Christian calendar. Calendar need not be hanged on wall. Calendar is nothing but day, month year that we all have on our mobile phones and computers.

Yes.. Mostly I use only Mobile phones and computer calender for any purpose. And yes they are just normal calendar... so no need any special one which predicts future.

No one can predict future, if they predict and happens its just by chance. You are right it was fools day not dooms day, dooms day is when a person dies that day is a dooms day for that dead person

Mayan calender cannot be simply waved away since a lot of time and effort has gone into it, and also it is a representation of those times.In fact the very fact that they went so far ahead , almost 5000 years plus and drew up a calender is in itself commendable...

Mayan calendar may be excellent but this is not relevant for our functions. We work by Christian calendar. Even the date 21-12-2012 is in christian calendar and not Mayan.

Mayan calender was just like any other calender that may have been left incomplete by the creator. But it gave a good reason to many to celebrate. ;)

I feel that the date has been arrived at after calculating its equvalent in Christian calender, the same as we calculate from Hindu calender which is quite different !
