Welcome back to another big contest on Boddunan. Thank you very much for making Episode successful, hope you enjoyed it.
So, episode 4 topic is:
Society & Relationships (including its sub categories)
Respective categories and sub-categories are already created on the articles section.
Reward: 1000 Cash Credits
with additional 500 cash credits for exceptional performance, if any, as decided by the administrator.
Fact: You will earn minimum of 136 per article on conservative terms if you win this contest, maximum will depend on your articles quality.
Cut-off Dates:
Article Writing: 17th Dec 2012 - 31st Dec 2012 (inclusive of the dates)
Send Nominations: Before 3rd Jan 2013
Winner Announcement: On or before 5th Jan, 2013
I would like to ask your help to complete the description of the main category and its sub categories. Your help is much appreciated (please do not post the category descriptions from other websites, we would like to be unique).
Rules:
1. Those who participated and won in 1 & 2 need not worry about your eligibility unless you did some mischievous things in last few days ;) .
2. Minimum 500 cash credits earned through article writing on or before 14th Nov 2012.
3. Minimum 10 articles on the above subjects with
a. minimum 30 cash credits for at least 7 articles
b. minimum 50 cash credits for at least 3 articles
4. No grammatical mistakes should present
5. Copycats are not allowed - even have a history of single copied article in last 3 months.
6. Articles should be well formatted. You can use images, but not too many. Usually maximum 3-5 images sufficient for any article with some exceptions. No copy-protected images allowed. If found, article will be unpublished immediately and you will no longer eligible for the contest.
7. Each article should concentrates on a specific topic/sub-topic with maximum coverage.

yesterday I submitted 5 articles from a browsing centre. completed 3 more today.
i need to travel a little distance to go to a browsing centre, extra expense too...
My net connection is disconnecting continuously. before I leave today, let me try to complete 2 more and submit today itself. if possible, I will submit more later.
what to do, today is power problem in our place :( :(

Net problem is the reason.....W-max can't work well in between Vilangan hills and Sobha city flats.
also BSNL people are so late ;) ;)

I have one request regarding the contest. I feel when people post articles for the contest, then the articles must be approved immediately and credited too. Then only most of the people get encouragement and interest. My article is waiting from one week for cash credit. not only me. Many members articles are waiting from a week for the approval and even cash credit.

All- editors and administration need some time to do their job especially when there is greater number of articles for review. All articles submitted by the last date are eligible for the contest irrespective of when there are edited and evaluated.

I think the admin has some strategy working behind his timing of awarding cash credit to articles. However one assurance is there that every thing will be settled before the month ends or shall be included in this month's account.

Even I agree with it these delays in crediting cash to the articles literally demotivates people to write new articles. I feel they should take less time to approve and crediting cash. :)
On one of my articles that has been edited and approved there is a message saying provide photo source. I normally use wikimedia images and some of my own, so how do I show the source? I thought wikimedia images were recognisable by the editors....
Photos from all sources are recognized by editors as I always give a note of source in the end like
- photo source wikipedia-
If the photos are your own work then there is no need to provide any source because the editor can see it. But providing photo source is in the interest of the site so protect it from any claims made in case of copyrighted photos used unknowingly.

Its good to see more and more people are focussing on the contests. Seriously thinking to partcipate in next contests but I feel submitting 10 articles is too much it would be better at least for me if the target gets reduced. :laugh:
