The search engine giant Google was tuned to avoid delivering porn in results for "ambiguous" queries .

"We want to show users exactly what they are looking for -- but we aim not to show sexually explicit results unless a user is specifically searching for them," Google said in an email response to an AFP inquiry.

I don't know how this is going to work? But its good to see that Google is thinking for children.
It is the good news for the parents, good google thinking about it

Google simply wants you to be more specific rather than generic in order to get appropriate Google search. As regards children, you need to opt for 'safe search' mode.
Whatever changes they made, I am glad that they are going on right track... This is good change for kids.
I just hope that the kids dont misuse this and go lengths to search for contents they need not see

I see a lot of anger and negative behavior among kids on this outcome

It s a good initiative on Google's part but how can they avoid kids from watching hardcore porn? Most kids would know how to get around this and most porn sites only have a statement declaring 'Click if you are above 18" This will not deter them in any way!
Haha- if a child knows what is he looking for google has made it easier than ever before- punch the right words for right search, that is true for any content why associate porn with that.
It is simply not possible to make internet completely porn free unless the the government puts in a filter which is not practical.. As for kids they are going to learn about it sooner or later...
If the content is on the internet there is no way any one can stop that from searching, this is duty of parents to keep an eye on their kids/children. Internet is not a place to force decisions as per any body's personal choice. This is free for all and our moral codes work to a certain extant only. Children used to watching porn would find ways to do that anyhow.
