I am 100% sure that most of our cricketers have sufficient skills and abilities.I think more opportunities should be given to youngsters. Senior players like Sachin Tendulkar should realize this.

If the cricketers are playing test matches, they should understand and realize that they have to stand and then deliver. They need a lot of Temperament Skills which i feel is lacking in youngsters. As, the youngsters will play more test matches they will learn.

Actually once the players find themselves well set in national side they think that is the limit of their achievement and forgot to do the main thing- the practice but get involved in adverts etc.

Well, I think all of them have skills and abilities.. That's why they able to win many in past few years.. The thing is that most of them are out of form now and that's putting Indian team down right now..

Some of them are there in team for their old reputation and they do not deserve any more to remain in team.

That's very true Sunil.. They are like burden for now. Player should be choose in the team because of their current form not past reputation. Selectors should have apply this policy.. Players which are in good form should be in the team, other should rest or practice till they get their form back.

They have skills but still they fail to select the right player.They should not depend upon the old players they should have confidence in their new players.

New players like Virat kohli will collapse in test matches. So, we need some good players who are experienced. Young players don't know to stand in test matches.

only in ODI and T20. I know he has scored 1 century in test match this year. No doubt he is good player, a player to watch always. I hope that he will come back in form in 4th test match.

Yes they have the skills as far as I feel but I don't think they perform as per their potential all the time they need to be consistent enough to prove their potential. :)

I think same sj.. Yes they have skill, the thing they are missing now is form... Most of the player is out of form right now and that is making India hard to win. :dry:

3 big test matches have passed. What the coaches and other assistant are doing in the team? I think if it remains in 4th test, then lot of problems can arise.

I think it is all politics in selection board that is not giving chance for deserved players. For test matches lot of patience is needed which is lacking is most of the young cricketers..

It is Indian mentality to raise questions and making negative criticism on cricketers when team does not shine. If it wins, every players ae worshipped as Gods.

I think it is all politics in selection board that is not giving chance for deserved players. For test matches lot of patience is needed which is lacking is most of the young cricketers..


In Test Matches, picking the young players is too risky. As you said patience is the key. I hope that india will do good in future.
