History is a fable agreed upon. The site was Babri Mosque and even if subsequently some idols were found, this could not be a temple. There are many erections and demolitions in course of history and these should not affect the current situation and create unnecessary disputes. There is another issue of some claiming that Taj Mahal was not built by Shah Jehan. Yesterday, some pamphlets to this effect were thrown in Taj Mahal premises. .

Of course there are any number of controversies and theories regarding Ram Janam Bhoomi...but according to my aunt who visited Ayodya in the seventies, also visited the Babri Masjid, there was a small temple within the premesis and pooja was being conducted there..

I agree with Gulshan ji, it is circulated in email news that Taj Mahal was a shiva temple showing all the pictures of 'om' 'thrishul' in nook and corners of the Taj

Aha.. I wonder where it all leads to. Real issues are set aside which are more important for the people. And trivia is brought to the centre stage.

The press too gave a wide circulation. Now lot of fodder for the politicians.
Whatever happened in history is all over. We have monuments, temples , mosques, etc. Lets enjoy the peace and beauty. History is good to listen but it has no use in present life. We can't change the past.
The level of intolerance is on the increase. In this background our cries to have peace and harmony are "Cries in the wilderness."

We Indians love to bask in the glory of the past. Thus wasting the present with irrelevant issues.
