(Yesterday my net connection was very slow. That's why I am adding it one day later)
We have been talking a lot about tigers...in a humorous way.
But on Sunday, a tiger was shot dead by forest authorities of Wayanad district. Alreday, tigers are endangered species. Yet, they couldn't find another alternative :( :(

but now, it has turned 'Pulivaalu' (in our terms- real problem) for forest department , as it's against rules. They now need to answer questions of central government team.

If the forest ranger shot it, it must have been a 'Problem Tiger.'It has killed the cattle of the people living in the fringes of the forest.
Actually people living near western ghats have such treats always...elephants, tigers, leopards etc...
Till now, I thought tigers are not found in Kerala.
Perhaps western ghats is their residence.

True. I too was under the impression that Kerala is a haven for Elephants only. But those old notions are proving wrong as the tigers' habitats are being invaded by a more selfish animal known as "Man.'

I'm sure you meant a "Habitat."
If this way men killed the tiger then one day we will also loose this species.
Yes of course this is against the rules. Hunting/shooting tigers is not allowed and person can be given serious punishment to kill endangered species.

I don't know who does it but but they give severe punishments like they did it in the case of Salman Khan he managed to escape it due to money only.
If tiger is shot intentionally then it was done may be due to the tiger skin or tiger nails.
