I think when we are depressed, we should try to sit quite and think wisely, to get the solution for which we are depressed.

As rambabu said, we should switch to some other topic. Try to forget that moment which is making you depress. It will take time, but you will get fine.

Diverting your mind to some other thing is the only way to relax. I do that on most occasions and find it working for me. :)
Even healthy meals can help us to reduce depression !!! I am hearing about it first time. Personally I do talk with my family members about my depression which gives me little relax instantly.

Brooding will not pay. Only a break will
When am depressed I will be alone or listen to music or do some workouts
Taking time off of work will reduce your stress. But there are other ways too

Diverting your mind to some lighter and less stressful activity certainly helps when you are depressed, and also going to the root of the matter as to why you feel depressed certainly helps...
When We feel depressed we must forget about the work for that moment and should relax our mind we will then definitely find solution to our question.
I involve myself in drawing when I feel really depressed since it can divert my mind. It gives me immense pleasure as well.
Rest a while and take some deep breath, depression will be lessen.
