5 or 6 years back, I happened to see pictures of a few kids of Somalia. it was a forward. i couldn't control my tears. it pained me for years.
it was that particular day, that I understood the importance of food. how much food are we wasting everyday.
after seeing those pictures, it brought a get change in me. now also, i feel sad if i need to waste a little food. :)

If everyone thinks this way, there won't be any horrible things across the world. Everyone should feel satisfied with what they have at present. I thank Almighty for the blessings I am provided with.

Wisdom lies in counting or blessings. Our own achievements. Our own Niches. Not the other fellow's blessings.
We all wake up daily unless life ends in sleep. everyone survives and fights for survival. The life goes on irrespective of several lives ending. There is an old film song- Yeh duniya ke mele kam no honoge. Afsos ham na honge (The hustle and bustle will not end. I regret I shall be not there.

However, I have nothing to regret about my not existing and hustle and bustle going as usual. The world must be happy and prosper. This is not related to any particular life existing or not.
This is indeed inspiring and all about not losing our perspective. Also a reason why we need to stop occasionally and give a thought to less unfortunate when we start whining about not having enough money or enough jewellery etc.
I feel very lucky. I really understand that there are many millions of people, who wake up and start struggling. They have to fight for each and every rupee.
I am very thankful to god and when i wake up in morning, I first thank to GOD to give me this life.
We should be thankful to nature as well as god for giving us beautiful life where atleast we get our daily needs easily. Everyone should know that any resource is not available abundant in nature and stop wasting things life becomes easy for such people.

Of course this is a fact of life and not just food but water and all resources get wasted and thereby depriving someone else who is in need....It is a total mismanagement of world economy and we can see it clearly in our country where the poor get poorer and the rich get richer!
That's very true. That's why everyone should be satisfied with their situations (even with bad situations too) because it could have been worse.
I agree, there are too many people who are fighting for their survival. We must be thankful for what we have, thanks a lot for bringing it to fore.
Waste Not , Want Not - to ensure distributive justice of all our international income and global natural resources.

If one can achieve that at least to some extent we can hope to see a lot of good happening , but it is just a distant dream that may not become a reality in the near future at least !
This is really a heart touching matter. There are so many like this who is fighting always to live.

Actually there is trend of food bank in our country also where they send such leftover for hungry children. It may sound weird but that helps lots of people to survive.

All big hotels keep such boxes to keep leftover to send to needy people. That helps so many hungry people living in shelter homes.
