a lot of such wastes are still dumped in different parts of India, in prison, spending crores of money. let kasab's punishment be the first step to make our prisons clean.......

No their are many who got death by hanging in independent India. But cases are rare and justice is delayed.

you should see a Malayalam movie 'Druvam' of Mamootty. It was the debut of Super star of VIkram, in a small role.
The whole movie is about the implementation of that punishment...how Mamootty achieves it, for the murder of his brother Jayaram. it shows the real challenges to carry forward this punishment

There is big figure in independent India, more than 2000 but lately yes the process is slow.

This is the main reason in our country why the criminals are increased.

This is due to various reasons, political, international and vote bank. Government keeps the matter suspended in place of hanging them to solve the matter.

Finally he got what he deserved and our government set an example to those who are always on the look out for creating havoc in our Nation. Though delay has been there.

I saw the news in the morning. Finally... He got it for what he did.

You think such a thing could happen ? apparently he was buried inside the prison compound, I too wondered why such urgency and why not be a little more open about ? I thought it was probably because they feared a backlash...

I think we should portray it with sense of achievement and not some thin like we did a crime hanging such a dreaded terrorist. Are we ashamed for doing so eagerly awaited. Why do we want to keep it hidden and like a secret. This should send shock waves among people who commit such crimes..

I donot know, but when someone is killed based on National security, everyone will come to know about it. see a person was killed in secret in USA and his friend died the next day for which we celebrate the friendship day as of now

today some friend of kasab kills himself....so do we celebrate friendship day??????????

India is a land of criminals including politicians ;)
but punished only nine :cheer: :cheer:

Hanging of kasab is just a routine matter. but the government has made this special by delaying hanging of terrorists in most cases. The timely decision is okay. But I feel that many decisions like this will be taken to get public support in Lok Sabha elections not so far.

secondly, i do not see the logic behind distribution o sweets on Kasab's hanging. Today local newspaper has reported such rejoicing and sweets distribution in Agra.
