I like my mother in law she is like my mother may be all men like their mother in law problem is with ladies who never can have good relations with their mother in law as they have to stay in the same house. :)

This is India bigbro where mother-in-law loves her daughter-in-law more than her daughter in present conditions and in case of son-in-law the love and affection is all that much more. I do not think any one can afford to have bad relations with their single or at the most 2 children.

Some disputes arise between any two persons living together. But these should not be taken very seriously. There are quarrels also between father and son, mother and daughter but the relation with Mom in law is more spicy.

Ahaha, 'Sirkar Ka Damaad' are the blessed ones.

It is no doubt a very difficult relationship and unless there is understanding from both sides, it can be strenuous.In my own case my m in law is no more there but although we did have our differences initially because she was a very strong personality , things got better with years and we were on the best of terms during her last years and we all miss her a lot...

The glaring fact is that parents are already known. The relation with in law is new and hence creates problem. This is like using new shoes.
