Yes I was watching her address at the Nehru memorial today, she went all out praising Nehru and Gandhi and of course Sonia Gandhi too who was there ...Suu Kui is a great leader who has withstood a lot of hardships at Myanmar and today she insisted on calling it by its old name Burma in her address...
She will also go to IIS Banglore to deliver a lecture. I don't know what the lecture would be? but some topics would be of leadership.
Lets hope she can bring some energy to India's movements agains corruption
She has arrived here for signing few bi-lateral agreement between India and Myanmar.
She was in fact invited by Manmohan Singh when he visited Burma in May to deliver the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial lecture, which she did yesterday...India has had problem with illegal migrant workers( according to statistics more than one lakh people ) from Burma and they in turn expect a better treatment from India and she will address that issue as well...

This is good news. India will have good relationship with Myanmar also.
India has always had good relationship with Burmah even when Suu Kyi was in prison, and now she is the opposition leader in the Burmese government , but hopes to win the next election...
She is a great leader and also a great fighter in life. In her visit The relation will be definitely good.
In this our PM also went there and had signed lot of agreement. May be to give a final answer to such agreement, suu kui has arrived here.
She has studied here for many year.
Nobel Peace Laureate and Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi was in India to meet with top officials to establish closer ties between the two countries.

She cannot do that because she is only an opposition leader with very little power. She has been invited here to deliver a lecture and she is also taking this opportunity to gain Indias support for the election in Burma in 2015 where she hopes to win.If she wins then India and she will have to remain in close ties.In fact, she was very diplomatic about most issues preferring not to commit herself like any true seasoned politician...
