Delhi covered by heavy smog since 5 days

Is it vehicular emissions, or atmospheric pollution or smoke that has caused this. According to a news report it has been caused because by farmers burning hay in large quantities..

The condition of Delhi atmosphere is very critical.But today the weather is little bit good.This happens because of the farmers burning land in Punjab.

Every year, temperature of Delhi coes down to minus points during winter season. Winter season is very hard and torturous in Delhi. Pollution level in Delhi is also more. Hence smog is obvious. Many a times, trains were delayed or cancelled due to smog. All street lights are on is example of tremendous smog. Nothing is visible in such situation.

Hers is the typical case of passing the buck and the typical mentality of Congress ,that she can do no wrong....Delhi by all accounts is the most polluted city in India

That is so typical of all the politicians, and to think that she was one the who won the best Mayor award some years back! I really am feeling for the poor Delhiites for having to face this, it will probably give rise to a lot of respiratory problems!

' Passing the buck' is a book considered as the Bible for 'Cngress Clan'.

I think the pollution must also have got something to do with it. Delhi is a very polluted city due to large amount of traffic. :S

But still Delhi is much less pollutant than other city as I think so.But now weather is much fine.

None can escape from the claws of pollution demon. Even the remote and interior places in my state are the victims of pollution.

As a residence of Delhi now everything is fine. Life came to a normal one.

Yes Rambabuji. Even villages are getting polluted now a days. Water pollution claims the first place in the villages.

According to news reports, it seems to have cleared up today in most areas....The authorities are blaming the farmers who have been burning hay...However, Delhi has the dubious distinction of being one of the most polluted city in the world and I am sure Sheela Dixit will say that they got the statistics wrong.. :dry:

The weather is now fine in Delhi.it is less polluted than other cities.Now its time to enjoy the Diwali of Delhi.
