Well before these studys and revelations, our elders always used to reprimand us against eating desserts
Winter has arrived now and in my house" Gajar ka Halwa" is ate most of the times in sweets.
Mostly i will have ice creams after my lunch. But hereafter i have to avoid it....
Good information shared. One should go for low calorie desserts to stay healthy and fit. As the ongoing festive season is on we must try and avoid taking too much of sweets and desserts.
Since, I have done a lot of researches in the past one month, my mind is full of health related facts....
Not only am I advising my husband, but trying to implement some of them in my life style too!!

always be aware of intake of calories. Human body doesn't need more than 2200 calories a day...so, take care while eating sweets and snacks in good quantities
I guess there is no need to completely do away with desserts but be careful how much you eat ...As long as you are ready to sacrifice some other way when you eat desserts you still can have some once in a while, in fact some of them are very healthy,like fruit and yogurt based ones..
Bengalis can't live without desserts. It is good that I don't love desserts so much. I eat less.

Yes. even elixir turns poisonous when taken in excess.
Before starting and completing any good job we are given sweets.It makes our day.
