President of BJP also facing it. Now what will the future picture of Indian politics. In coming election regional party will be dominant. I think it is not good for India. Share your opinion.

Indian government is decided and run by corporate companies. Politicians run their own companies. It is Indian Politics.

Anil, I appreciate you for posting thread on current affairs. It shows your social interest.

I believe that regional parties should restrict to regional politics only. But we cannot help. It is for people to differentiate while voting. The issue raised by subramaniam swamy is really not of corruption but some irregularity. The donation by congress is not corruption. This is not clandestine. Irregularity if any is technical and not a matter of moral turpitude.

Anil, public memory is very short and since elections are at least a year and a half( or probably( even longer than that ) away, people are bound to forget all about what the leading parties and their leaders did and vote back one of them unless there is some other better alternative. From what we can see now, there are very few options left..It is either frying pan or fire !

Friends actually nobody is honest in political field. We cannot blame one or two person or party. All are responsible behind corruption.

Yes, all are under the garb of respectability. Unless proved otherwise all are good Samaritans.

all the politicians are good at the art of fooling people . by the time you realize that the candidate was not 'clean' you have already voted for them. then we are in a dilemma that whether we should exercise our power to vote or not? and that responsible citizen stuff ? in both the ways you are helping a corrupt person to come in power. :( :( :blink: :huh:

Indian politics is full of corruption at present. I think eveyone knows well about this in detail.

It is not donation is transfer of funds. How can a political party's chief can use party fund for their personal use. I am agree with you we can't help in restrict regional parties. It is attitude of Indian public to give vote and support to a corrupt person. Jagan Nath Reddy of AP is its latest example. Thanks sir for sharing your views.

Yes Rambabu, it is not easy to take legal action against Swami, he is too much intelligent person. All politicians are corrupt. Indeed politics is not a way to serve country it is profession.

Very true Anil, As of now, there is very little choice and it doesn't seem as if anything great would happen before election time, so we are stuck with the same old wine in a different bottle made up of patch work glass (allies)...not very inspiring nor something nice to look forward to...

I agree. But the issue is- why have we no option. The clear answer is that most people choose career other than politics. Politics need heavy investment in elections and hospitality. So, it is more profitable for most individuals to chose business or service, preferably in MNCs and corporate sector. Those in corporate sector also stand to gain in collsuion with politicians and bureaucrats. The services like I.A.S. and judiciary also give ample opportunities. Moreover, the I.A.S.., other central and state services are permanent giving handsome salary, pension and also opportunity for corruption. Hence, politics is for the existing politicians and their families only. That is why voters have no choice.

Very true! Most well educated and intellectual people either prefer working in private MNCs or decide to immigrate to other countries, some prefer working in civil services, but hardly any of them join the politics. Politics is viewed as a career only for those who have money and muscles and therefore the straight forward people usually leave it alone, thinking its not their cup of tea. This is the major reason why there is seen a dynastic trend in the families which are involved in politics for decades.

It is democracy, every one must be keeps his/her eyes open and always aware with the change.
