Kumar tooli is famous for making idol and from here through ship Pratima goes to foreign also.

@ Devyani I think most f the Artisans are PALs or PAULs of Kumartooli if i'm not mistaken.

I visited the pandals of mudiali club.The pandals and idol are wonderful.And received many awards.

Is Puja Pratima similar to Saraswathi pooja? Is it related with Navarari?

The second photo is from Koomartooli Parka nd the third one is Mohammed Ali Park. I cannot guess the first picture. Can you write Sharmistha about the place where this pandal was built?

No saraswati puja is held in the month of January or in February.It is not same.And it is not related with durga puja.

Devyani the first picture is of Mudiali Tollygunge and the second one is of Howrah and the third one is correct.It is of Muhammad Ali Park.

Sharmistha pictures are really very nice. I have tried a lot but I could not upload my pictures.

I Really want to know what are all the rituals followed during this festival 'Pujra Pratima'. Could you please anyone help me on this?
