Too bad for a celebrity!

Lata Mangeshkar and Mohd Rafi charm with their sensitivity.This is quiet impossible to hear such words.Yesterday in news I heard about it.

This is the fact that they both had some disputes for almost 5~6 years so they did not sing a song together in that time period but its difficult to say if Mohd. Rafi wrote a letter to Lata Mangeshkar to forgive him.Rafi's son has asked "Lata to show that letter as people normally keep safe such important things she must have also done it she should show it to the public otherwise she should not claim it".but that's not fair I think Lata Mangeshkar should not have commented such thing if she does not have anything to prove it. :blink:

Mohd. Rafi was a nice gentleman who could have said it without being on wrong end of the affairs. Both had respect for each other and even if there is a letter of this effect, no one should mention it at this stage. This is not good to create a confusion about a departed soul who cannot give a clarification in the whole matter.

They were very good friends.Both Lataji and Rafiji contributed many duet songs to Bollywood.If she says so then she must prove it from her side.

This is inside story. Celebrity's personal story should not come out in public. Moreover we have interest in their singing rather than in their personal life.

Mohammad rafi was an great artist. And Lata mangeshkar also greatest singer. Both are great personality. We can't compete each other.

Actually, Sanjeev you would be surprised to know that she has a number of skeletons that are buried in Lataji's closet!! It is actually very unbecoming of her to comment about any such thing now at this stage!

Even i was also surprised to read her comments in the newspaper I never expected her that she would comment like this that too for Mohmd Rafi who was a real artist.And I also surprised to see it that her sister Asha took an advantage of this and sang most of the songs with him when Lata denied to sing song with him. :blink:

I agree, Rafi ,going by all accounts was a gentle and very understanding person.However, what Lata did at that time did help all the singers since she fought for their rights single handed...this led to her misunderstanding with Rafi because she was annoyed that he did not support her.He of course did what he thought was right ,like she did what she thought was right.
To bring it up now just shows pettiness and unbecoming on her part.

I still feels it bad I don't know who is wrong but one should not make such comments what Lata mangeshkar made when you know you are a big celebrity it may effect your image.Moreover its not good to dig out the things which has no meaning now at present. This would not affect but Mohd Rafi's son does not want any wrong thing on record about his father.

I don't know if Lata understood it if not she must ask an apology to his son if she can't produce the evidences I think that would be the only solution to end this dispute. :)
