Friendship is sharing, loving and caring. Their is no question of dictatorship! Depends on the level of understanding what bond you share.

This tendency may be responsible for the kind of relation viz. a friend dictating to other. It is for friends to see how they interact. As far as the friends are satisified with each other, all is well.

This is the beauty of the relationship and is the essential meaning of friendship.Being friends means being there for each other at all times, whether it's good or bad. A friend needs to be very understanding and give each other the benefit of the doubt. Ideally the meaning of friendship is sharing unconditional love for each other.

I have received fantastic answers from all of you. I have seen many people to make friends either to take revenge or insult each other. They don't have morale values.
Some incidents are seen in colleges where ragging takes place. It is good that ragging has been made illegal and it is banned.

There are still good friends who keep helping us in bad times and share our happiness in good times. This depends on a particular person as to how he deals his friends. If some one needs dictating at times by friends there is nothing wrong, that too is helpful and in best interest of a true friend.

Even real friendship can be temporary. I had some friends at remote places. There were definitely sincere. Friendship was true. But this was also temporary and lasted since we were at same place.
