Friends I have seen many girls to suffer mentally as well as physically due to marriage. I was studying in B.Com(Hons.) 2nd year. In my friend circle, 3 to 4 girls got married before graduation. They could not complete their studies. They left Kolkata and went back to respective village. They lost all hopes and chance to prove themself. They were forced to get married because they were 18+, matured enough legally. Do you think this was good?

Friends don't you think that society is stealing away childhood of innocent girls. They are becoming mature before time.

 Person at 18 years is fully matured you can't say society is stealing childhood of girls. If they marry girls before 18 years then you can say this.

What makes you say that so confidentially? The level of maturity at 18 years is not up to the mark that she can differentiate between the right and the wrong.

I said it confidently because every where in the world person who completes 18 years is considered to be an adult even after 18 years only person gets a right to vote. :)

No doubt, eighteen years is age of majority according to law. Formerly, right to vote was at 21 but reduced to 18 later. Hence marriage on attaining the age 18+ is okay. But many study even till age of thirty. In their cases, marriage obstructs study. Boys have their way. But for girls, marriage is considered more necessary than higher education.
Though a girl is considered adult at 18, her body is not matured enough to carry a child before 20. That's why, to avoid risks, doctors also suggest +20 for pregnancy.

Excatly! This is what we need to change such mentality. But we cannot ignore marriage at certain age.I have two cousins who did not show interest to get married at the age of 25~28 years as they wanted to get government job first. They got it and both are now a gazetted officers in UPSC but on the way to fulfill their ambition they could not get married. Now they are of around 50 years and living togetther as their parents died 5~6 years back. They have a brother but they don't live with him due to often querrels with wife of their brother.

Mind you its not that easy to survive in a place like Delhi to live alone for a woman/girl but that's their fate that they have live with it. :(
It creates lot of problems. One may not get to know each other properly. They suffer from a good understanding. It hampers their studies.

Understanding between the couple is always essential to keep that relationship sweet and healthy. :)
Early marriage create lots of problem. It increase the divorce rate.People often get divorced early.

Obviously more marriage can only cause more divorce. Unless you marry, you cannot divorce.

Bit divorce is not topic. The topic is that college going girls with their home in villages are married before completing studies. They are 18+ and this is legal. what can be done to allow these girls to continue their college studies.
