Afghanistan bans Pakistani newspapers

Don't you think this is against democracy?

But we can expect such things in Afghanistan as they never been a democratic country and always Taliban have dictated people over there. :blink:

National interests always are above everything.. Democracy is for nation and people and not the other way. Pakistani newspapers night be writing material detrimental to national interests of Afghanistan.

Foreign newspapers are not sold on newspaper stands. Interested persons have to get by post. Apparently, Afghanistan has banned import of Pakistani newspapers.

I don't think that Pakistani newspapers are available in India.I haven't read yet or haven't seen any newspaper of such type.

Of course it would not effect India in fact it won't effect Afghanistan or Pakistan also. :)

Afghanistan can ban Pakistani newspaper. It has nothing to do with democracy. It is related with business and economy to a certain extent.

Now this is the era of net. Everything is available yaar.

Pakistan is a nation, which never trusts in healthy co-existence with its neighbors and other countries. They have their own problems, which need to be looked into and to detract people's mind from them they act so foolishly that other nations have no choice but to ban them.

Pakistan is blamed for non friendly relation.They always fight with its neighboring and other countries.So might be Afghanistan took this decision.
