This is the best anwser for this question. Thank you so much for this. Yes earth was just a single piece of land surrounded by water. As age passed on, the shape and size of the land got change. People began to confiscate and fight for the ownership of land which has given rise to so many countries. God created single man who cannot fight and do such partitions for himself. Land was a gift of Nature to man.

It is the creature of nature who made them.So difficult to say why nature made one big and one tiny.
