In ant the first letter is A , in elephant the first letter is E so the starting letter comes first and it is small. :) :P : :ohmy: :lol:

I want to do a question here.
Why article a used before u or woh pronunciation. For exam a university. What is it's justification?
The article'a' is not used for every word starting with 'u'. Though the article 'an' is usually used before vowel, the article'a' is used if the starting letter sounds like a consonant. In your case of university, though it starts with the letter 'u' which is a vowel, when you pronounce it, it sounds like'you-ni-ver-si-ty'. so we say ' a university' and not ' an university'. But in case of uncle, you say as ' an uncle' not 'a uncle.
However I don't understand what you mean by woh pronunciation. Can you give some words with that pronunciation?
