There is no link between male's sexual desire and sperm count. A man believed his wife is at fault for not conceiving. But in fact, he was himself at fault.

Now the believes are slightly changing because of our great medical world.
It is wrong to blame any- son or daughter in law for not giving birth. Impotency- male or female is physica- for which nobody is to blame. l
It's even applicable to educated people/ in-laws.......not only uneducated people
Even I and my hubby's elder brother's wife were blamed within 2-3 months of my marriage (her marriage was just 2 months before) for not conceiving within that period
Women are badly tortured if she cannot give birth to a baby. It is mostly seen among villagers or less educated people. I have seen such stories in TV serials where a women is tortured badly when she told her in-laws for her husband's medical test. Her parents did not support her. Her husband became totally wild saying that she is questioning his manliness.
India is much backward. People's mind is lagging behind because of such thinking.

Impotency be it her or her husband's and giving birth to a female child is both horrible for a woman to bare. In all these situations, wife suffers and not the husband. Many a times woman is killed by her in-laws or forced to sleep with other man for a male child. These should be made illegal in country.
