writing irrelevant post

I have noticed that some posts are irrelevant to the subject. The post must be according to the topic and no unnecessary post should be inserted. These have to be deleted by moderator.

Secondly, I also noticed a spam post on South Indian saris. This contained link to site advertising saris. Such posts are liabkle to be deleted and even more severe action taken by admin.

I request all to cooperate. If you find any spam, please report.

I think as a moderator you have the power to delete or take proper action against such posts, I also hope that you did so on that particular thread in question here.

I tried to open that thread under daily dose catagory, but couldn't...because it was already deleted. I think, it was a new user who pulled that old thread up. Later she started it as a new thread too.
I copied her post and searched in google and found that those words were directly lifted from a public forum.
She is a new user. So, we shall guide her from repeating same mistakes again.

Yes. I did. I request you also to report any duplicate or repetitive post, undesirable content or spam. My request is particularly for 'Daily Dose' of which I am moderator.

I would also support with this thread. Absurd reply and post should not be displayed in the site. Many people do unnecessary quotes and write two words to get 5 points for that. This is also unfair.

You may gain more revenue by getting more points. The moderators also therefore try to get more points and consequently neglect moderator job. Moderator bonus alone will not suffice to exclusively work as a moderator. However, I am here not mainly for money. I am here for enjoyment. I like discussions and moderator job both. If I am required to work only as moderator and not a member, I have no problem.

If they can not delete a particular thread there is no harm in deleting the particular post and give him/ her a minus five to warn a erring member.

Such posts are sickeningly too many and almost driving away serious-minded members. I hope that the new team of moderators would be ruthless with these!

We may not talk about sites. We can talk about activities on internet that can get money. For example, writing articles, adsense on your blog, translation, online tuition etc. Anyone interested in some thing can easily search and reach the sites without any help. You may also work on others' . blogs and sites and earn money. Boddunan itself is such a site. The significance of this site is that this suits a learner and expert both. There is no substitute for hard work. You earn by articles writing, forum discussions and various contests. As your skill increases, you may earn more. There is also scope for advancement to moderator or editor job on the site thereby giving you more income. But it should be kept in mind that this site is for writing. A very excellent young man may acquire necessary expertise on this site and may later even find job in some national level daily news paper or magazine. One may even get chance to be a TV anchor or commentator by acquiring skills with dedication on Boddunan. If somebody has no interest in writing, this site is not for him.
