By mono dialogue you cannot convince anyone. Listening is very important. You may convince only by understanding other person and replying him satisfactorily and patiently. I agree.

Talking too much about oneself is an indication of some kind of psychological complex or emotional insecurity and is just a step short towards being narcissistic and it is unhealthy. Therefore I do agree!

Moreover if you disagree with them you may be tempted to interrupt, but I suggest don't do that. This could prove dangerous, they won't agree to you but you run a risk because they have too many ideas to overrun you. :dry: :dry:

Sunil, the best policy to adapt - do what you have to do, no matter what anyone says or does !....the world is a very large place and to think that everything revolves around you is not only foolish but stupid as well !

That's what I always do, I listen to them patiently with an open mind, I even encourage them to express themselves fully. I know this helps them steam-out properly. ;) :laugh:

I can't say the same about myself because I had been working in marketing department, therefore lots of talking was involved. But I am good at listening as well.

The people who cross the line we transfer them to complaint attending department. They keep their mouth shut because more outspoken persons are their to deal with them, customer is always right you know. :)

I am very strict for it I don't buy anything which I do not need. i say NO on the face as I know if I won't say it for the first time itself they will try to sell it every time they will meet me. :blink:

Very true!!!! But some people even lock us to the seats with their words... my father is one such person who can be easily locked... :woohoo: A marketing executive of Country Vacations sold us holiday package costing 1.5 lakhs in the similar way..
