Today anna and his team decided to end fast and enter politics. He may even for a new political party. i agree with this. You cannot change the system without entering.

You can continue fast and a movement just on a single point. There is no doubt that democracy is about difference opinions. But a political party consists of people broadly with same ideology and program. If Team anna really want to enter politics by forming a political party, mere corruption and Lok pal will not suffice. There are many issue ranging from state autonomy, international affairs, secularism and so on. You can run a campaign or hunger strike on a single issue but not a political party. Politics is not like an examination with optional questions that you may select.

I am watching them from from every angle without any partial view points. As they had no option but to go for elections and forming a party, they did it. Who thought a Gandhi who had nothing to do with politics but was a mere satyagrahi would be a tool for liberation of our country. None of those were born politicians and they aren't politicians even today. They can at most be described as influential people who can win elections due to different factors.
However we should discuss a particular obstacle while we face it.
If we can have new generation of Sindias, Yadavas, Gandhis who have nothing to do with politics and giving them charge of ministries, what could make these members of Anna team prove lesser than them?

Apolitical means 'not political'. Obviously, there is typing mistake in the thread. Anna has definitely right to enter politics. But politics cannot be only on one point. If he forms political party, this must be equipped with full fledged party policy and program consisting of all aspects of state craft. This cannot be on just Lok Pal.

I know Gandhi was only 15 when INC was formed by a Brit but Gandhi, RajendraG, Bal Gangadhar Tilak and all the big names joined it later. Gandhi wanted congress not to take over government and to disperse it but they never heard him.
For me Patel was the right choice for this country, even today for me a man who has experience to run an agitation is better than new generation of recruits whose sole qualification is that they come from political leaders' families.

The politicians are acting funny by their dynastic functioning. But this is because very few people enter politics so that the field is open only to existing players. So, they may run dynastic politics. Dynastic functioning is also in business, films and other places.

There is no difficulty for Team anna to enter politics. But the problem with them is that they are too impatient. They changed track when their movement failed. Now they are thinking of forming a political party and fighting 2014 parliamentary elections. They are not clear about how to run country. They cannot do with just a single point program. There is every likelihood that they will contest election and may just bag about ten seats maximum in parliament. so less number of seats will cripple them and disappoint. Then they will again change track.

It is understood by many that team anna is simply talking about political alternative as a face saving device in view of dismal failure and loss of public support.
