Role Model

My role model is in history. She is legend and myth. I like her character and want to be like her. She is Devyani, the queen of Delhi.

I haven't read much about Devyani. Can you throw some light on her life. Would like to update my history knowledge. ;)

I am also eager to know about this former queen of Delhi. I have no knowledge about this chapter of history.

Even I never read her name in History of Delhi. :blink: I know only about Razia Sultan who was a ruler of Delhi in ancient times durig Muslim dynasty. :)

Even a movie is there with the title Razia starring Hema Malini and Dharmendra. But I think Devyani is not much popular because many of us are unaware of her.

Mother Teresa who came to India to help poor people of this country did never help any one with money but she saw to it that they did not sleep hungry. Her mission was to help poorest of the poor. She was awarded Sainthood later by the pope a rare feet achieved.

SJ, Yes, I have choosen social work but not as a profession. How much i can help to the people through my hand i help others.

True up to an extent but necessarily. Although patents play a big role in children's all round development but they can chose their own role models.
