Till now, no announcement has been done about the future of DFAA....6 months have passed since it's stopped. Is it because, forums are active even in the absence of DFAA? :evil: :evil: :evil:

Earlier also many seniors members have pointed towards giving DFAA for quality posts only. I also feel so. If someone can monitor and select posts according to it, it can be successfully implemented again, sure. It should never be for quantity, but for quality....also to users who are able to prompt others to discuss.

Leaving it to users will create many issues and ego problems. I don't think that would work here. Also, there is a question of biases and friendships!!

Its not just about you but all of them and there is no knowing when someone will question a moderator's judgement as has so often happened until recently.
There have been numerous discussions on this topic and every time it has been maintained that it is not feasible to reinstate this contest, so I am requesting you all to stop this discussion now!

Sandhya, there is no feasible solution to this question, what has been suggested here n number of times have already been implemented and we have checked their feasibility which was not at all workable. So just let it go, there are other ways of working and earning other than that!!
There have been too many ugly issues where we have lost many valuable members and we do not want that to happen yet again!

Members may be benefited this way. But DFAA was meant to encourage quality. I hope admin may be considering reviving that.
I read admin some where that he has no intention to revive that since this was creating lots of troubles for site. Admin of a site knows his job best.
