Best investment you have done.

Last week i made a fixed deposit of heavy amount which was a big investment for me.

As population is increased so investment in land will be profitable in future.

3-4 months before we purchased a small piece of land. Though we have a loan, the purchase was worth enough. We bought it for around 17lakh....within 4 months itself, it has reached above 20.

The rates of plots are increasing rapidly in Kerala . It is a good investment for you.

Actually, if we are able to afford a loan, it's nice to invest in land. After 5-10 years, when the loan completes, the property's price may be many times doubled.

Now, we are living in a village. Yet, those plots where a car or mini lorry can go, starting prize is 2.75-3 lakh per cent. :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: :ohmy: Here itself, there are plots that costs more than 5 lakhs, 1-2 kms away from main road. Am saying about plots which are 3 kms away from NH.

I feel the best invest is gold and land. Other than these remaining are bit risky

I have many plot of land and in my locality many of them buy such a plot.It is really a good investment..........

All said and done I still feel that land is the best investment ever since you have something tangible.If prices go down, you can even earn through it by putting up some buildings and renting it out...

What a coincidence, I too shared a piece of land with daughter in Bangalore -(actually on Hossur road in Tripattur in TN) but just on the border in 2010@ 600/ft now gone to 1200/ due to its location. Although, I regret having only 2k ft no more.

That really is a coincidence :cheer: , We bought ours on the Devanhalli airport road close to Hebbal for Rs 850/ per sq ft.I have not had the sites evaluated but according to real estate dealers one can expect about Rs 2000/ per sq ft now...2k ft is good for Bangalore standards Sunil...

Personally speaking everything is now very unsteady, stock market is very volatile, so is gold since it is already very highly priced.I feel that Fixed deposit in a bank is the best option as of now...

You do not have to buy real gold but you can still invest in gold for any amount unlike real gold and can sell/buy at current rate at a click. You can trade in any metal.
