What is duty can not be love. The relation after marriage is obligatory and as such cannot be love. Love is always voluntary. Post marital love is a compulsion and not voluntary feeling.

What i think is that there shouldn't be a huge gap between dating and marriage.

Yes what about the olden days when the couple hardly saw each other and never had the time to understand each other. For them it was love after marriage and in those days we had lesser cases of splits in the couples. Maybe now a days the youngsters take a plunge in haste. :unsure:

These were arranged marriages and couples lived in joint families. They had no option to separate. The elders' word was law.

One serial has been just started before few days " Love Marriage and Arrange Marriage". It comes on Sony TV at 8:30 pm. That could make us understand what is the real importance of marriage.
