Rahul Gandhi as Defence Minister

I just don't see why they are hellbent on making Rahul Gandhi either a PM or a minister of some sort!! He can never be trusted and least of all a very crucial ministry like Defense ministry which is important to safeguard national security. I don't think he can do anything good for our country as a Defence Minister!

He loves company of poor people only if it shown on the TV! Otherwise, he cares a d*%@ about them!!!

To be leader of any house he should be minister first.I think deffence will be right choice.

In this era, nobody thinks about the poor. Middle class families are becoming poor days after days. Ministers want to fulfill their own needs and wants.

I think he is born to become prime minister of this country so no post lesser than that should be offered to him. I do not vote to this idea of defense minister.

I don't think that any ministry as such suits him. If he has administrative ability and decision making capacity, all ministries suit him. If not, nothing suits. This is prerogative of P.M. to decide a portfolio or ministry for any member of council of ministers.

In fact, the executive framework is Indian Administrative Service. The ministers may guide according to policy of government, ruling party or alliance.

Today Sonia Gandhi said that Rahul himself should take own decision,what he would do.

Yes that should be decided by Rahul himself. He must do it fast as time is running out for him.

This is so because in the year 2005, she and PM Manmohan Singh many a times insisted him to become Cabinet Minister. He refused to be part of Government. This is nice that now after loosing election in UP, he has finally decided to be proactive in political field.

What I feel that if he has to be a successful prime minister in future he must have some experience of office now. he should start with a deputy or state minister in home or foreign ministry first.

Can Rahul can do justice as a Defence Minister as he is not having that much experience in politics.

If Rahul Gandhi is selected as Defence Minister then who will save India?.:( :(
