Sandhya there are female superstars in film industry that is Hemamalny who is also known as dream girl, rekha, smithapatil, jaya bachan, madhu bala and many more
Yet, they are not given the title, super star. Also, a film is remembered in the anme of hero, not heroine. Also, they are paid less. Isn't it?

Though the title of superstar is not awarded for any heriones they are still consider stars and glamorous queens... Khusboo is live example.. even Rajinikanth(superstar) don't have any temple like that...

I think, Sridevi is beautifully presented in Chandini in beautiful chiffon sarees which became a trend later
Among Them Vidya Balan is my favorite.Last year, it was a female dominated year in Bollywood.
It's after years, 2 films became super hit with ladies' effort only..... No one killed jessica and Dirty picture

Yes Vidya Balan is a good actress. I saw her in Dirt she has cated so nicely in that film and she is getiing matured in her acting with every film. :)
