We should avoid it as it polluted our environment and can not be disposed and recycled.
Now a days ,It is very difficult to avoid plastic items. Because most of the items have plastic body i.g. Mobiles, TV, Refrigerator,Computer etc.. List is endless. But we can avoid using the plastic bags by carrying cloth bags for the shopping.

I think we can re-shape plastic products like mobile, tv, computer etc., but Im not sure. only polybags we cant recycle as it is very thin. :s

Now you can recycle any plastic item. Not only the plastic items we can recycle
paper, glass items, aluminum etc also.

computer, cellphones, tv, CD, printer cartridge all are recyclable.
Now plastic bags are not given as free items in big shops like big bazaar and MORE. We have to give rs.5. It received warm welcome, as people began to carry their own plastic bags for shopping to avoid extra charges
Plastics are affordable and convenient to use.But at the same time they are hazardous to health. Not all plastics are harmful but most of the type of plastics release toxic chemicals in air, food and drinks which prove harmful. Some plastics like high density polyethylene and low density polyethylene are biodegradable or can be recycled. So they are safer to use. But plastics should be completely avoided for carrying food items and drinks. It is better to opt for other alternatives like glass, stainless steel and bamboo products.
Maximum i tried to avoid usage of plastic items. But now a days it is bit difficult to avoid.
I think Goverment has a rule about the thickness of plastic to use.
Plastic is every essential in our life though it pollutes environment but it is fact we can't survive with it,we should try to avoid usig it if we can.People know it but they can't get the better alternate for it.
Though we cannt avoid plastic completely in our daily life..its good not use plastic bags and plastic utensils for our own health...

It is a great move. If they receive 10Rs also i encourage it. This will create awareness of taking bags for buying items

Imposing fines and making plastics items costlier will definitely reduce its usage. However, to effectively reduce its usage, I feel that an alternative to it needs to be produced. Though jute and paper can replaced it to certain extent, they are not useful in certain cases.

Plastic bag consumption is reduced in your state is a very great news. People will never want to lose their money.

If anything is free they were never minded to receive it.
Do you mean PPE products used for packing? Without plastic products the life can not be imagined today. Yes Polythene should be banned for packing.
