No doubt, everyone loves breakfast item dosa/idli along with Chutney. I too :cheer: :cheer: .
Actually, each person's chutney differs at least by a little bit and through this discussion am hoping I will get some secret recipes :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: . Kalyani says, she knows to make 7-8 types. Let me steal some recipes from her kitchen also :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

The chutney which we prepare on our telugu newyear is really wonderful one, in that we can taste 7 tastes. I really love it. Most of it I one have in home. We make this on ugadi festival which is a telugu newyear. We use, ingredients are

1.)Jaggery - sweet
2)Buds of neam - bitter
3)unripen Mango - sour
4)Red chili - chili
5)Salt - salty
6) Tamerind
7)Banana

All should be chopped finely and mixed.

This gives a wonderful taste and very good for health as it contains neam buds they will clean warm in the stomach
Cut the onions and fry the onions

and Put all in mixie
now onion chuttney is ready to eat.
use tamarind also.

Can tomato be used instead of tamarind. what do you say? :unsure: :unsure:
