I only see whether the advice is good. It matters little whether he himself follows this or not.

Same here SJ... I will follow it if it is worthy, but will not forget to give back advice to that advicer.

Actually, we are who to advise others......?????
I often give suggestions...but never compel him. Even if he doesn't follow it, no problem.
I just give guidelines. He can choose it if he feel worth. Otherwise, he may blame us if it proved wrong.

Advicer is also a human being. It is quite possible that he himself does not get idea or willingly does not want to give idea due to some reason. In such a case we should thing ourself and solve our problem. Depending on someone completely is a bad habit.

Excatly i follow this thumb rule. I listen to everyone but do what i think would be the best for me. :)

Why should I react, that is none of my business. Let the advise maker should consider what is good for him.

I prefer to watch only- if some one is not following his own advises. I simply smile and walk ahead.

I give my advice if somebody asks me and if I know the subject matter.
I love to follow advice if I can. :)

when anyone advice me that we must not do anything wrong i follow that but when i found that that person is not following those advice which he or she has given me became furious that time.it so happened one day when my friend told me that we must behave properly when any elder scolds.i told yes we must respect them and its better to keep our mouth shut.but i found one day that my friend did not respect her mother and she was behaving rudely with her.it just hurt me a lot.i stopped talking with her for a month.

I take advices from everyone who are wellwisher of mine. But i study each advice and then i take my own decision which is good for me

Yes analysis is important before following someone's advice and curse him/her afterwards if come to know that advice was not good. :blink:

Some times I take my advice back if I see they are not utilizing it properly.

I know how to take it back. i simply tell them to not to follow my advice if you don't want it. But never make a complaint later.
