And what they do if it is real mineral water?
Hahahahhahaha

Tecnically speaking, water is a basic medium for some minerals like iron. Water, basically alkaline has some amount of minerals. The acceptable Total dissolved quantity drinkable is 60 ppm, hence some mineral water bottling units fortify the water.

It is a strict rule not to include 'mineral' in the bottles lable,so cleverly they just mention it as 'packaged drinking water'

excessive minerals are toxins to our body

That's exactly is mineral water but most of the people think they add some minerals to make it mineral water.
By the taste of the water we can say easily whether it is a mineral water or not. there are few companies who genuinely provide mineral water. so while getting mineral water we have to prefer them.

Swetha, thanks for more info. Actually the bottled water that we buy is not at all mineral water, but purely tap water. Proper mineral water is supposed to be water that is collected from natural springs and that contains minerals in healthy proportions.

Yes, that is the law of nature. But because of the rise in pollution we cannot even drink the spring water, except in some untouched countries....untouched by pollution.

Now, if you see, in some places, like in kerala, they have introduced Reverse Osmosis drinking water to tap water and the water is good.

Municipalities just filter the water and they dont purify it, that is what our great municipal corporations do.

With the increase of poullution, just boiling the water is not enough, we need to filter and purify it and then it is fit for consumption...
But suraj, Original is always Original. So We can make out which is duplicate or which is original

By outer cover we find this is a not real or real but by taste you never find it.I personally encounter it.......
I feel carrying the water from our home is good for our health instead of preferring to drink water from outside.

Still now i don't know what is mineral water. I thought it is purified water. Thanks for your information. :)
Actually they add some minerals to the water to make pure water. But now a days many companies came for purifying water. We cannot trust many of them.
See friends!! Where our civilization reached.... We are forced to buy mineral water for getting pure water....
And many are taking advantage of it...pack and sell it, without any process, on the name of mineral water ...
Yes you are right Kumaresh even we can find some water bottles in railway station with normal water.
I am not sure SJ- I have seen them picking used bottles at railway stations and packing them using water meant for toilet sealing them with cello tape. I am again not sure if railways supply mineral water to toilets in compartments.
Sunil I got this experience in train when I bought a mineral water bottle.

That is every where the same. they do it openly picking up used bottles and refilling them with ordinary tap water.
This is very bad I shocked at that time and cant say any thing as train left the station.
