Books are our best friend and i still believe in that from the day i started reading. I thanks my mom for inculcating such habit in me. So guys lets start discussing about good books which you are reading and which are there in your reading list. Hope we will come to know about new good stuff...

Till now i am engaged in reading some spiritual books of lord shiva.....It give me some hidden power........

Can you elaborate about these hidden powers and obviously about books also?

At present, i am reading one book which is filled with lots of Inspirational stories. " The chicken Soup for the soul : The book of miracle".

I am about to finish "CHHAVA" written by Shivaji Sawant. It is very big book. Total 855 pages. First time I am reading such huge book. Next, I want to read "A suitable boy" by Vikram Seth. It contains 1488 pages. :ohmy:

You must read A suitable Boy, I read it a few years ago and found it very absorbing ....I even wrote one of my first book reviews on the book for another site...

What the book is all about?


Chhava is based on the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of the great warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj! Its a very good book and throws lights on many historical facts! Although I have read it in Marathi. You must read it!

Two states is reasonably good, at least better than his One night @the call center...I have not read Chicken soup.....please do let us know how you find it !!

when I went home for summer vacations, I read that book whole through my journey in train.....It's really time passing.....

Yes a time pass actually but better that "One night at the call center". 5 point someone and 3 mistakes are really good ones from him.

I have got hooked on to John Grisham and have been reading one after the other of his novels.Finished with The runaway Jury,The Firm and The Testament , now reading The Litigators ...I think he is one of the best writers in the legal thrillers category !

I also love to read books.I read comics,detective romantic and lyrical books.I love to read the novel of Charles Dickens and now I am reading Great Expectation of Charles Dickens.

I have got hooked on to John Grisham and have been reading one after the other of his novels.Finished with The runaway Jury,The Firm and The Testament , now reading The Litigators ...I think he is one of the best writers in the legal thrillers category !


John Grisham is definitely one of the best writers. Though I have read only few of the novels written by him like The painted house, The Testament, The associates etc I enjoyed reading them. Incidentally, The Painted house is not related to the legal stuff

Yes! How could I have forgotten about him? One of favorite authors! Have you read John Grisham's A Time To Kill (I think it was his first book) and The Client! They are super great! All of his books are addictive actually!
