Do you offer seat to a lady or an old person when going in public transport?. I do that often even i ask people also if i am standing to vacant the seat for them.Do you do it or not? :blink:

I hope in most of the bus special seats are allocated to ladies and senior citizens. I do offer if there is no seat for physically handicapped, senior citizen and women.
And that's a good habit but i have seen people who sits on the seats reserved for ladies and don't vacant it if some lady is standing. :evil:
Old people yes I always offer a seat to them and also for ladies carrying small children, disabled people.I had this experience when I got up and offered my seat to a lady with 2 children before she could sit a man came and sat there ...but other people were helpful and intervened and the lady with the children got to sit.You have such selfish and insensitive people in India..
I do help if 1 child is standing in front me,I offer him to sit on my legs.
If the seat is vacant besides my seat,then i do offer to sit.
But when it comes to stand and give to other,i don't do it.
Because i travel a long journey of 7 to 8 hours. If i stand and give it to some lady or Men,i have to be stand till the end of my journey. i.e for 7 to 8 hours.
That i can't do it.

The actual reason is- I get up and ask them to sit because I am tall enough to catch the bar and control myself otherwise they will fall on me.
So its better that you don't sit just offer your seat to anyone as you can control by standing there. :laugh:

I am an experience holder, when some of them fell on me I started offering them my seat. :P
I also offer the seat to older people, handicapped people, or pregnant ladies. I have noticed one thing that even though if we offer the seat to other people they would never appreciate it or would hardly say Thank you especially females. Older men would at least say thanks but not women.

All want to live their own life. No one worries about others,in this life.
I better prefer not to help by looking all these greedy things.
I have helped small child,old ladies and sometimes Men.Many times in Train i have helped Old Couples.
I love children,so i like to help them.
