Simply no they should not be used if alternative is available.

Absolute non violence is impractical. We need some degree of violence for our own preservation, safety and knowledge. In fact, the world moves on lust and cruelty and not mercy or compassion as some religions would suggest.

Without using animals, scientific research is not possible. However, there should be minimum of cruelty or pain.

I also sometimes feel discomfort while watching such videos in TV. They can't speak. So men torturing them for our benefits. Isn't it?

It is not a humanity but for ours sake they are killed. There is no other thing to check the tests and they donot have mouth to say stop.

ya..I got a mail in that...In alaska ..humans are killing baby seals..Really that baby eyes was really it was begging him .....I voted to ban .... against this movement.

I slightly accepted..for medical purpose...but not for monetary benefits and for humans food.... ;) ;) ;)
