error in uploading Photo under my profile section

Sir i tried many times to upload photos under my profile --> upload photo menu. but always the message shown image siz limit exceeded. but image size is only a 12 kb which i upload. and their is limit of 256 kb . please tell me the reason why i am not able to upload any pic.

i am sending you an image which i try to upload...

This issue is resolved now. I have increased the maximum size. Please try again.
