Really???

It may be because zero was discovered by Indians, not Romans :woohoo: :woohoo:
Yes Zero is discovered by our Indians so it is not in the romans list.
I think it is not possible to write 0 in roman numerals....
Why cannot we create a Zero symbal for romans so they will be glad for us.

Of course we can write our own'0' for Romans too :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Actually it's a new piece of knowledge.
But why are they not finding a written script for zero   ?
Yes ZERO does not exist in Roman numerals. I never studied it in school. :woohoo:

Why so??
Actually I have no idea!!!!
I don't know why they write it as "C" but i guess may be 'C' stands for century so they write it as C. :)
Actually, I never use Roman letters. I can't even identify Hindi digits.
I studied it in 5th standard where we are taught to write Roman numerals up to 100. :)

Write 'c' for hundred

The decimal system and Arabic number system is based on concept of zero. The Roman numbers are just symbols and not capable of any further mathematical treatment, viz. addition, subtraction, division, multiplication. 'zero' means nothing. Its value is only for mathematical functions and not otherwise. Hence, no symbol for 'nothing' in Roman alphabet.

Further, while counting, you begin with one and not zero.
zero- and infinite are not real numbers. These are hypothetical though mathematically important.
