Yesterday evening suddenly the temperatures came down and then it was glorious as rain poured down, poured all night and today until now...so the much awaited monsoon season has begun. Year after u year we wait for this with the same expectancy and wonder...

Hope for the best. i think we need more rain here to beat heat this season. :blink:


In our town clouds are forming. But rain doesn't falls.

4 or 5 years ago something similar happened when the rains were delayed and not sufficient in the beginning , but later during the months of August and early September it rained heavily and there were floods...

I think if we don't keep control on pollution, then we could see more worst than this.

yes pollution is one thing which need to to be taken care by all of us.May be if do some small things we can contribute a lot.

I have some favorite rain songs - 'Pyar hua ikraar hua hai from Shree 420, Ek ladki bheegi bhagoi si from Chalti ka naam ghadi and Rhimjhim ke tarane leke aayi barsaat from kala bazaar... :)

I like to enjoy monsoon season with a holiday in my office and watching cricket match and have some hot recipes............

Yes according to weather reports the rain deficit is coming down.It was at 30% for the month of June and for July so far it is only 12& which means there is more rain and hopefully there will be a lot more in the coming weeks..

Monsoon didn't hit Delhi till now.We are burning of heat.Everyday we pray god to give rain but my prayer went all in vain.

That's really bad, I wonder why the weather experts get it wrong most of the time while predicting rain or anything else...The day they predict fine weather we have heavy rains and so on...

Two days back it rained in Hyderabad heavily. In news they told rain is for 24 hours after this news there is no single drop of rain.

Yes last week it rained heavily in Kolkata. I accept more rainfall. The temperature is truely very high and not reducing in the morning till evening.
